Transformers 2 Causes Explosions
I recently came across some interesting news. Apparently Optimus Prime and the other Transformers are so detailed in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen that they caused computers to explode. That is pretty crazy. I am not a technological whiz, so I will let scifiwire.com sum this up:
”Visual-effects supervisor Scott Farrar was in charge of turning Industrial Light & Magic’s computers up to 11 to create the new characters and told reporters that the sequel features 40 new characters. That and the increased resolution of the characters for new IMAX footage nearly exhausted ILM’s render farms: After one hard night of rendering computer-generated footage, some of the hardware actually exploded.”
That is intense. Michael Bay has gone beyond causing explosions in movies to causing explosions in real life. The man is a menace. This news just makes me want to go see Transformers 2 even more, and see highly detailed robots, explosions, and Megan Fox.
This is probably the best news I’ve heard in my entire life.
I bought my tickets for this movie 2 weeks ago so my 3 year old son and I could be the first to watch it, some how I feel this place is going to be booked
